I cannot connect to HP Laserjet 4350
Dear all,
I have been trying to connect to our office printer the HP Laserjet 4350 for the last 4 days.
My computer is connected to it through an ethernet network cable.
Before it was easy with Apple Talk, but now I can't make it work: it keeps on searching for
the printer (the message "connecting to the printer"), but never does.
The information I have:
-IP address of the printer
-the printer is in the bonjour list
-SL has the driver of this specific printer
I tried to set through HP jetdirect socket or IPP protocol. Nothing.
I work at university and our ICT help-desk dept does not support apple users!!
So basically, I am stuck.
If I can't solve this problem, I will go back to the 'regular' Leopard. Any help is very helpful. Thanks in advance,
Luca
