copyright symbol with mac keyboard with a windows only program

I have been reading about the copyright symbol input on a mac, but I have a concern; I have a photo program called downloader pro, that is windows only, so I would run this with windows installed on my mac, probably with parallels 4.0. If I am running this program through parallels>windows on the mac, how would I input the copyright symbol then? on a mac keyboard with a windows program? could it be done? I use the copyright symbol with my name & year upon downloading my photos from my memory card to my external hard drive.

I did not know about iphoto, I will have to take a closer look at it on apples site, does it retain all the picture quality it doesn't compress or alter the photos in any way? I am shooting .jpgs right now. can iphoto download & handle DSLR raw camera formats? & convert to DNG? I remember asking in a photography forum about different downloader programs & they seemed to insist on fancy photography programs,I often wondered about this as another person told me it is just a simple transfer of files (in the instance of .jpgs).

does iphoto allow one to use their own way of organization? does it offer meta data/IPTC information for multiple photos?

I have no idea what "side car files" are. iPhoto generates its own thumbnail for every file it can read, including .avi videos. I don't know what format your Sony video clips are saved in, so I'm not sure whether iPhoto will handle them.

You can find out almost everything about iPhoto, short of actually using it, through the many links on this page:
