printer USB --> URI : file:///dev/null

Hello,

I use an HP LaserJet P1005 Printer connected with USB to my imac.
The print files are bloqued in the list wait. I try many solutions like : uninstall and reinstall the driver, but without find a good solution.

By chance, I noticed through "http://127.0.0.1:631/printers" that the URI marked: "URI de périphérique: file:///dev/null" instead of "usb://Hewlett-Packard/HP LaserJet P1005?serial=BC0MW8L".

Do you know how to change that? Where is this configuration file to be able to write by hand?

Philippe

Hello,

I try reset printing system : but it is always the same thing...

I see an other thing : when I ask "utilitaire" --> "configuration page" : all the informations are "not available". None product name, serial number, service ID, total Pages Printed etc...

have an other solution ?

About URI, the uri of my samsung printer is however specified even with the stop…

Philippe
