I have your same problem, how you have resolve the issue?
Thanks
Mavericks seems to have fixed it for me!
Hooray!!
Did you try a mdp to hdmi cable?
I found a fix. It was my mini display to hdmi moshi adapter that wasn't working. Tried another one and all good now.
me too, same problem same solution. I dug out my moshi adapter receipt sent it to moshi and got a replacement back which works like a arabian horse.
I emailed them my receipt but haven't heard back. Did you have to call?
Problem has been solved. It was the actual moshi adapter and sent back the RMA and the new one is on it's way however purchased another one on amazon in the meantime.
Yes... Apple, where are you when we need you most?!?!?! Lots of money spent on your equipment. Enlightning us is the least you can do.
and therein lies the problem.. they ALL work for a while - some several months and some just a few hours - with no rhyme or reason behind the sudden refusal to work any longer...
Get the mdp to hdmi CABLE from NEET.
I probably will order one. I took my Gigaware one back to Radio Shack this morning and they exchanged it for me. I plugged it in and it seems to work fine...for now.
For sound go into sound preferences and select your monitor.
Mdp to htmi cable.
*hdmi
That only works with mid 2010 or later models, earlier than that and a separate cable from the audio out on the Mac is needed.
