Will a rented movie expire while playing?

If I have a 2 hour movie set to expire in an hour and I start playing it, will it expire an hour into the movie and will Apple TV delete it? Or will it play through and delete it once I stop the movie?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

I believe the time relates to starting the movie, so as long as you start the movie within in the designated time limit, it should play through to the end. In the scenario you described, if you start it an hour before expiration, it shouldn't suddenly stop and disappear before it finishes. However, if you stop the movie before it finishes and exit from it with the Menu button, you'll probably be SOL.

Thanks. I will give it a try tomorrow night and see what happens. I should have the kids in bed in time to start the movie but expiration time will hit somewhere about an hour in so I will keep my fingers crossed.

Not done it myself but others have reported that a movie will not expire during playback, be sure you don't stop it once you have started it though.
