install windows 2000 using bootcamp 2.0??

is it possible?

i already found out the hard way that you need win xp sp2 or greater to install (i tried win xp without sp2 and it wiped out my hd)

macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Hi and welcome to Discussions,

Windows 2000 is not supported to be installed on Mac with BootCamp.
Simply said, it is too old and lacks some neede features for a succesfull install.

You can however use your pre-SP2 Xp and this instructions http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxpsp2slipstream.asp to make yourself a XP SP2 install CD.

Or if you really need Windows 200 to run, have a look at the virtualization apps like Parallels, VMWare Fusion or VirtualBox.
VirtualBox is the only free app of these, the other two cost some cash.
