MBP and Dell 3200MP projector
I have been trying to use a MacBook Pro 15" with a Dell 3200MP DLP projector for presentations. The projector connects via it's own cable to the DVI to VGA adapter on the MacBook and shows in System Preferences>Displays on the Mac. However, the projector doesn't "see" the video signal from the MacBook.
Mirroring the displays causes the MacBook display to switch to the projector's resolution (1024 x 768) so the connection appears to be working correctly. The projector automatically senses video connections but will not sense either an analog or digital signal from the MacBook. The projector works properly with a Windows laptop though.
Any ideas?
