itunes freezes when renaming movies

I am still having both problems. Some Video's become corrupt after renaming (mostly .mov) and others (.mp4) take huge time and color wheel and actually are renamed without corruption. Renaming of .m4v files work OK. A workaround on the .mov's was to export export them ( thru drag-drop) to Desktop and renaming them. This renaming takes less then second without file being corrupted. Then importing renamed file (drag - drop) back into iTunes still having .mov format. But then risk remains of corrupting file when again renaming it in iTunes. Better alternative was exporting file to Desktop converting them (I used WonTube Free converter works pretty good) from .mov to .mp4 and putting them back in iTunes. After that I could rename them in iTunes without corruption. Also I have tried abt 7 tools (freeware and pay-ware: Stellar, REMO, etc.) to repair one of the corrupted .mov's non of them worked. So better not to try without first making copy of file inside or outside iTunes.
