Problem with iWeb asking for username and password to access my public site

This password protected box is also coming up on my 2nd site too. I have the CNAME all set up on a second mobileme account (Family Pack). It's not even EVERY time that it happens.

Here's something interesting, when I erase the domain from the MME site, publish, re-enter the domain and publish again it works for awhile.

Strange.

I found that GoDaddy has added a "helpful" feature that isn't helpful. Set the CNAME of www to MobileMe, then set Forwarding to www.yoursitename.com but DO NOT CHECK the "update my DNS settings." I think this and the CNAME change fight one another.

After a week of phone calls to Go Daddy and Apple Care, I finally got my answer. You need to go to www.apple.com/support/mobileme and click on iDisk, a subheader and get someone on Chat. It took a lot of resetting of MobileMe on their end, so it's not something you can do yourself. My website is finally working! I hope this helps you all as I was going crazy and lost hours of my life working on this.
