iPhone has deleted all my music?

This is the third time it happened. I left the phone hooked up to the USB. Returned back, removed the phone from the usb. And when I was on the road, decided to listen to some music. Boom, all music was gone. I am sure everything was there..but somehow iphone wasnt able to access it. So, when I returned back to the office, I hooked it up again to USB. I could see from the Itunes window that everything was there. Anyway, finally I ended up deleting everything from iphone by using Itunes and re-sync again, which took half an hour.

Did anyone experience a similar issue?

I had the same issue today. Downloaded an album from the iTunes app (Devendra Banhart) to my 3G and left my phone while it downloaded, came back later and it had stopped downloading and all my music was gone except for 11 of the 14 tracks that were downloaded. I tried hooking up my phone to my work comp, which is forbidden but I risked it, and downloaded iTunes 9 for windows. All my music shows up as one would expect, but does not show up on the ipod app on my phone. I guess I'll reset my phone when I get home off my mac, but seriously, what a pain!!! I have almost 12 GB of music on my iPhone and it takes FOREVER to install the songs. Get it together please!!
