My iPod Nano 5G battery life can last 9hrs+ only and Other Enquiries
Was attracted to it because of up to 24 hours of music playback...
Bought it, in the end it lasts for 9hrs+ when I only played music with about 50% volume. Called the centre 2 days ago, their reply was "9 hrs is the maximum you can get for iPod Nano". Was doubtful of the answer, went to Bugis and Orchard ION's Apple Store to ask if my battery got problem and they said yes. Even I went to the Service Centre at Wheelock Place, they asked me to go to the place I bought for a replacement.
So, went down to the store today, asked for replacement, they agreed. But because of some small minor scratches, *I have to pay 15% of the price of the Nano. In the end I did not replace my iPod. Before leaving the store, this male salesperson with long hair told me this other alternative: Wait until after 14 days then register you iPod at apple's website..I asked again for reassurance as it sounded weird, he said 7 days warranty for that store only,For real Apple warranty, you have to sign up AFTER 14 days from date of purchase*. And guess what they wanted to do with this spoilt ipod? To service and sell it in store as a NEW one.
So now I'm wondering if the salesman claim is true about the warranty and that if they sold me a 2nd hand iPod Nano which others had problems with it and they return and then they sell to me.
And btw, my speaker is softer than what you hear in stores.
Can anyone help me with these issue above. Thanks alot
