Advice on good monitor for mac mini

Can you hook up over wifi to the screen (Bravia 55" HDTV) or do you need to connect with a cable. If so what cable?

Have a look at the Viewsonic VX2753MH-LED 27" LED LCD Monitor. Retails for just over $300, is energy star compliant (20 watts) and is Mac compatible. Not entirely sure what this means but I am assuming it will integrate with my MacMini and Apple keyboard.

I ordered the Dell UltraSharp monitor to replace an old HP monitor that had 3 lines of dead pixels in it. I needed a monitor that I could calibrate for Lightroom and Elements photo work. I research items heavily before I make a purchase. This one was in the price range that I could afford, and the reviews were very helpful in making my decision.

The 1920x1200 16:10 ratio gives me a ton of space for all my needs. When working outside of the photo realm, I can easily open 2 programs up side-by-side and view practically full pages on the large screen.

The colors are extrodirany IMO. I found detail and color variations that was not visable on my old monitor... and that's a good thing! I have it calibrated with the Spyder4Pro.

I have only had the monitor for about a month now, but I am very very happy with it. I have had several comments made about the beauty and size of this screen. I absolutely love it. Functionally, I needed a quality monitor that would calibrate for photo editing - and I got that and so much more. I would recommend this monitor to others.

The Mac Mini supports 2650x1600 resolution so don't sell yourself short getting one that doesn't support that. HD (1080) isn't great for a computer monitor so HDMI should never be used. I use the Dell U2412M LED and it's awesome!

I just love the View Sonic VX2252MH and you literally cannot beat the price of this monitor.

The Dell U3014 30" will be here shortly to go with my Mac Mini. There's not really that much more viewing area than a 27" but I want the less pixels per inch because there's a digital piano controller between me and my monitors.

I have my mac mini plugged into a sony bravia 32" TV through and HDMI cable and it works great. the picture quality is awesome and it's one less screen in my bedroom as the tv is now all I need.

In looking for an answer to this question I stumbled upon this thread. Though it is an old thread now, it did give me initial direction to check out Dell monitors. I am so happy with my set up now. My OSX looks SOOOOO good on my screen. I ended up going with this Dell monitor:

I recently bought an LG 24MP56 monitor at a local Best Buy and I am very happy with it. It's a 24" monitor with an IPS panel (IPS is a must) and I found it for less than $200. I am using this via an HDMI connection and the output is beautiful.
