Is it possible to rename bookmarks of files I've dragged into Preview? I'm trying to create a multi-page file of sheet music by dragging various files of different types- mostly pdf, png, tiff and jpg- into the sidebar. That all works, but I need some way of organizing them. Mostly I just need a way to rename the bookmarks. Please send help!

Sorry I wasn't helpful. I feel very bad I let you down.
You want to change the file name, which you can do if you save. The file name and the bookmark are only navigational links within Preview.
Preview is called preview for a reason. It isn't an authoring tool....you should try iWork or GraphicConvertor instead if you want to concatenate objects and embed links or create a table of contents, etc.
Any time I get any kind of answer, it's always helpful. I was so excited about the new things Preview 5 can do, I was hoping it would let me delete Acrobat. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give GC and iWork a spin.
Preview...'Bookmarks' menu/Edit Bookmarks...double click on the 'Bookmark Name' & make the change. Hit return - done. Tap the small red dot in the upper left corner to close.
