Problems printing tri-fold brochure

I produced a tri-fold brochure with Pages, but it won't print out properly. If printed from Pages, or if exported to a PDF and printed out using "no automatic page scaling", the right-hand quarter-inch or so of the document gets cut off. If the PDF is printed out using "Scale each page to fit paper", there is an extra 3/4 inch of blank space on the right-hand side of the printed document, so it won't fold properly. What can I do to solve this problem?

I'll wager you're using an HP printer. On some of their models, the last .56 inch of the trailing edge won't print. It's an unalterable margin. If this is the case your only solution is use another printer.

Hi Laurie

Welcome to the forum.

Check the printable margins of your printer. Most printers do not print edge to edge. To find out what it does print, you can completely fill a sample page with a grey box and print that to see what is cut off.

Also check what you have as a setting in the +Page Setup… > Paper Size.+ Particularly check if there are any margins set in the page size. I zero all margins.

Which template are you using, is it possible you are using an A4 template on a US letter size printer?
