Tab translator

here's a shot in the dark....Let's say I come up with a cool melody and wanna hum it into a recording of Garageband to use later on as a guitar part. Does Garageband have a function/feature that can translate that hum into guitar tablature?
I'm not that proficient of a guitarist so trying to find the notes on the fretboard would take a while where as a quick notation/tablature translation of the melody I just recorded would work wonders.
thanks

The latest version of Sibelius 6 allows you to sing or play into a mic and have it transcribed in to notation. You can turn it into tab after that. http://www.sibelius.com/products/sibelius/6/audioscore.html

Can GB import MIDI files? I don't know because I have never had the need, but if it can then you can export out of Sib a MIDI file and if possible import into GB. Its worth a look, but Sib is WAYYYY expensive.
