Cracked LCD spreading!

Hi- Unfortunately I have a crack in my LCD (the glass is still in tact). The phone still works fine, and the crack really isn't that bad. However, the crack seems to keep spreading, and grey areas (where nothing is shown on the screen) also continue to spread. Any ideas on how to stop the spreading?? Thanks!

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

Cracks are generally stopped by drilling a hole at the end of the crack which of course is not really possible with the iPhone. At some point you'll need to replace the glass. Check Ebay, Craigslist and Google for iPhone repairs.

Get the LCD replaced.

If not caused by accidental damage, this will be covered under the warranty.

If caused by accidental damage, Apple offers an out of warranty or not covered under the warranty "repair" price, which pays for an exchange at a discounted price. The cost is $199 plus tax.

Or there are some 3rd party repair companies that will replace the LCD at a price probably not much less than Apple's "repair" price which pays for an exchange.
