Just updated itunes to 9.02 and Apple TV to 3.0

I stream my TV shows from my mac to my apple tv to watch them

I went to play the Office in HD for which I bought the season. WHen I go to play it, Apple TV states "The selected video could not be played. The format was not recognized."

Odd. I bought it from Apple on iTunes and I'm trying to play it on an Apple TV. I did not have this problem before the updates.

ANybody have any thoughts on this one?

Thanks

I tried the process explained here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451
But it created a new second library and my HD was not big enough. So I decided to:
1) Delete my library
2) Change the iTunes Media Folder Location to an external HD with ample space
3) I dragged and dropped my entire library back into iTunes
4) I waited for everything to copy
Voila: it worked.

Perhaps, but the sequence of events is as followed:
1) I updated to iTunes 9.0.2
2) Had no problem with itunes or Apple TV
3) Next day I updated ATV to 3.0
4) I immediately had problems with streaming video to ATV from iTunes

If it wasn't the ATV update that prompted the issue, I am at a loss to explain. It is the only change I know of that I made prior to the issue.

It must have been the 3.0 update...

As I stated before: I never had this problem before...

After going back to factory settings on the ATV and reinstalling 3.0, after rebuilding my iTunes library, I still had the same problems on the same (in my case 7) moviefiles.
I pulled these trough my Elgato Turbo.264 HD, reimported them into iTunes and finally my ATV is happy.

I really have no idea what you are talking about. Until your post above you haven't even participated in this discussion. The link I posted wasn't even intended for you, I wasn't even aware that you existed at the time. If you want people to help you, you at least need to say something about your problem, although you may need to approach the matter more politely if you want people to respond.

I had this same problem before the update, but since 3.0 it has been ridiculous. I am able to get my streaming working by going to Settings>Computers>Add New Library. I don't add any new library but it seem to re-establish my live connection with iTunes. It is a lot faster than rebooting the ATV or my media server but is still a hassle. Hope this helps
