Yellow tinge from bottom to top of the screen, 27" iMac

My 27" is showing a yellow tinge when viewing on the bottom of the screen compared to the top?
This makes color corrections on my photos impossible. Anyone else has this problem? You can easily
see it on white or grey background (even in finder windows)

Dude, no need to quadruple post. You can edit your single post. Stop spamming Eizo. We get it, you can't get a good display without paying out of the nose. Except, wait. My Macbook Pro easily beats any of the iMacs posted here (as well as any of the 5 iMacs I received). I'm sure Apple didn't use Eizo for the display of my 2006 Macbook.

Also, if "new tech" LED is WORSE than "old tech", then that kind of defeats the point of new tech doesn't it?

Switch900, Don't you get tired of playing this game? Why don't you just go away! You have been trying to tell people that they are seeing things & that all iMacs have perfect screens for 3 months. You have been trying to sabotage this post for 3 months now. Enjoy your so called perfect iMac & go away. And if you are going to continue to post nonsense, at least use proper grammar, full sentences & paragraphs.

Why are you here Dino you think you are helping and by the way I am using my iPhone to post. Dude you got away with a free upgrade man why are you here, that's my question. Had 2 iMac 21 inch, upgraded by a apple rep who told you yes, when you requested a 27 inch model and you have a ilemon like all of us so call have. Sabotage haahahah, I gotta laugh, you know 99.9 percent of the screen I have seen here are perfect. Why test your screen with the grey bar when you don't see the iLemon, I say this again and probably all the time if you don't see it with normal use of the screen, then it's fine of coarse there is variability with the grey bars.
But stop beating on the dead horse man, you got an iMac for half what it cost. Let me save your trouble and many others, apple is not going to solve this for you or any new iMac why because this is something that is not part of apple, apple is not going to tell LG. I'm not going to put any more of your panels until the iLemon is over.
Stop beating on the dead cattle it's not going to happen be happy with your 21 inch oh wait 27 inch that has a price tag of a 21 inch. For the rest you see the iLemon get a refund or that MacBook pro with LG all over it also. I have a MacBook 13 inch alum and a MacBook pro 17 both also have slight ting if you all feel happy. Also my iMac has a yellow ting also. Sorry that my big mac doesn't. Look like the one on the photo, I should return all big macs because it is not advertise as in the photo.

This thread has become some what irrelevant in recent weeks. I dip in and out but it's literally kept alive by the same old posters repeatedly pushing their agenda. It's also rather militant in the fact that those purporting in helping others are actually rather guilty of being blinded by the cause - jumping on anyone who doesn't subscribe to their view. It's a pain the yellow iMac but surely people have got better things to do than day after day metaphorically waving their banner, cutting and pasting peoples photos to prove a point and berating people who claim they don't have a yellow screen issue.

This thread also has a ridiculous social hierarchy, there's the obvious self proclaimed "King" and his defending minions who repeatedly claim that "we are only here to help" but heaven forbid if any other contributor steps out of line as they are soon put in their place. This thread certainly needs some new blood as nothing new has been discussed over the last month just the same old same old repeatedly being said and some rather fanciful and misjudged theories being bandied about.

For the record, I received a replacement (week 10) to my week 50 iMac (I waited three months before I initiated a replacement) and it's even more yellow so off it goes back to Apple while I consider my next move. There was a time when I regarded this thread as a useful resource but that time is long gone.

I guess what I'm trying to say is maybe it's time to enjoy your iMac OR just get a refund as such prolific posting on the same forum thread must be a fairly time consuming exercise. If repeated posting on a forum is your bag you could have saved a fortune as a cheap netbook would have done the trick;-)

As a footnote, the discussions over on MacRumours seem a lot more relevant and useful and there are some genuine interesting theories being discussed.
