Yellow tinge from bottom to top of the screen, 27" iMac

My 27" is showing a yellow tinge when viewing on the bottom of the screen compared to the top?
This makes color corrections on my photos impossible. Anyone else has this problem? You can easily
see it on white or grey background (even in finder windows)

Have you done the Grey Bar Cut & Paste Test on both?

Try It!
Grey Bar Test:

Take a picture with your Camera of the Horizontal Grey Bars & another Picture with the Vertical Grey Bars.
Theses bars can both be found Here:
http://tapplox.com/imac-led3.html
http://tapplox.com/imac-led2.html

Copy Both Pictures from your Camera to your iMac.

Open Up your picture you took in "Preview"
With the Mouse Select the entire Left Grey Bar
Go To File, Copy,
Go To File, Paste
Now Drag the Copied Section to right next to the Right Grey Bar
Go To File, Paste
Go To File, Save As…
Give the Picture a NEW Name

* Do Same with Horizontal Grey Bars.

It's me again guys. I couldn't make it to the Apple Store to replace the screen and my iSight yesterday. I have made another appointment for this Saturday.

I kinda see the yellow on my screen in safari, but keep looking at it every time I use the **** machine...

I know that the new MBP's i5 are around the corner, and thinking.. do I just have them refund me for this or keep it.

It's really a great machine. I am now regretting selling my old MBP for this. Even today, I have pre-ordered an iPad for my wife.. go figure.

Below are new pictures without the reflection.

What do you think Dino? Everyone?

Bennie, If you keep look at it. Get either the Screen replaced, a Swap out (exchange) or a Refund. You will never be able to live with it. And then you'll kick yourself, for not doing something when you could.
Get rid of it! If you see it, while using the iMac, It's NOT acceptable. Of course, these are just my Rules & my Opinions. 🙂 Good Luck! Btw, I can definitely see the difference in Grey Bars.

Go to the squeaked iMac site look at my post here I have posted the site. Also there is only a cetain pixel count taken into consideration, but looking at your screen is fine, I would enjoy my machine the way it is, pixels I would worry to much about them if you have not spot one yet then it's fine. If you want me to tell you I have one dead pixel in my machine when I put it in a black background, and one dust spot underneath the glass.
I could barely find them also, the dead pixel is not even noticeable, so is the dust spot I have to be milimeters off the screen to look for them, I have to be almost touching my nose on the screen.
