Magic Mouse lag issue.. new insight

Hey guys, as many of you i've purchased new magic mouse and been having problems with lag, and unresponsiveness.. I own a 24' imac which i bought a month before the latest update.. This whole situation is so bad for me that it really renders the mouse useless. However, i did find out few interesting things.. First off it only happens during the time HD is working overtime... For example if i am using apps that load up the cpu after a while it will start to lag. As soon as i turn them off, it all back to normal.. Games as well.. I recently tried to play world of warcraft with the mouse and it worked fine until the game made the imac go into overdrive and fans began spinning fast. The mouse started acting up again.. And most recently I realized it lags like **** when my time capsule is doing a back up.. As soon as time machine finishing working its all back to normal.. Very strange.. still no fix but that's what i could figure out so far.. Try it and see if you have those same symptoms.

Haha removing my battery cover from my magic mouse solved the problem.. makes no sense at all but i will have to continue working without the battery cover..

Any one else tried this?

EDIT: I am even more confused when saying this but it has also solved the entire system to quit jerking.. zooming, dragging windows and even my stuttering connection with the keyboard disappeared..

I also had this problem (lag, lagging, slow, jittery, erratic, disconnects) with my new Apple Magic Mouse and a Mac G5 Quad-core Intel Xeon (from October 2009) and it turns out after MUCH INVESTIGATION that the aluminum case is definitely interfereing with the bluetooth antenae that is inside the G5 Tower Case. I bought a Bluetooth Adapter and plugged it to my Mac or the Wired keyboard (even the back of the monitor) and it works like a charm. ABSOLUTELY no problems now!! It can not wake the computer from sleep with the mouse, but i do that with my keyboard anyway...

It is super tiny and works on Laptops and Towers. iOgear USB Micro Bluetooth Adapter. It plugs into any USB port and replaces your existing Bluetooth antenae service from the computer. Plug and play, no software needed for Mac:

Confirming this solution worked for me as well.

I am running a Macbook Pro with a trackpad, MAGIC mouse, and keyboard as well as an Airport Extreme. Uploading large files and doing Time Machine backups to my network drive rendered my bluetooth devices useless.

I added the second seperate 5 GHz only network in the Airport Extreme settings through the utility, changed my network settings to prefer the 5 GHz connection, and poof all problems solved as well as having faster upload speeds!

MacBook Pro 15 inch Mid 2010 2,66 GHz Intel Core i7

connected by LAN

bluetooth: broadcom

Apple Cinema Dispaly 30 inch (connected by minidisplayport to dual-DVI adapter)

Mighty Mouse

Mighty Mose stutters only during (but nearly always) Time Machine backups (with or without WiFi activated on MBP)

5 GHz not really an option because I want WiFi for iPhone

If I disconnect the cinema display everything's smooth!
