Bluetooth & Cyberglove

Has anyone managed to use bluetooth to connect with the new Immersion Systems CybergloveII? I'm using the Immersion bluetooth dongle, and my G5 sees the glove during setup, but then asks that I create an ID, and enter that ID from the glove. The glove has no way of doing this. We're trying to switch over from a wired CybergloveI system that uses custom written drivers for the Mac. Immersion has no Mac drivers, but I was hoping that the bluetooth would connect and then we could read data, or else write code to capture it.

Bob,

I do not own a cyberglove, but here is my take on your problem. By default the cyberglove does not require a pin (ID) and you can verify it when you set it up with a windows pc. However, Mac os X requires a PIN during the pairing process no matter what; I had this problem with other devices and the only solution was to have some default PIN number preprogrammed into the device (obviously the manufacture of the cyberglove would have to do it for you). Contact them and see if you can get any help.

Yours always,
