Question about eject from a new user

Hi guys,


I am new with mac world so I need a little help here.

Is it possible when I close an application, it been automatically unmount?

Sorry if i wasn't clear.

I mean, to automatically unmount the disk image application.

When you use for example messenger, it mount the disk image on desktop, right? But when i quit the program, the image still mounted in the desktop. I want to know if is there a way to unmount the disk image automatically when i quit the program?

Why don't you simply drag the application from the mounted disc image to your Applications folder? Then you can either save the disc image file you downloaded or delete it altogether. The application can now be launched from your Applications folder, so there is no need to mount or unmount a disc image.
