I have a Jabra Bluetooth which has a car charger with a USB connection. It's output is rated at 5VDC/750mA. Is this by any chance compatible with the iphone 3Gs? Will it damage the iphone if I try to charge with it?
thanks
The voltage is usually all you need to be concerned about. All USB connectors would have the various voltages on the same pins. Take a look at the current rating on the OEM charger you have. If the Jabra charger meets or exceeds that, you're good.
Thanks
The voltage is 12 volt (input). I assume the output is what matters, and it is 5V DC, and 750 mA. I don't know how to find out what the iphone car charger puts out, since that would show if it's compatible. I didn't see any listing in the iphone specs.
what is the conclusion?
can i use it?
again the details:
jabra car charger output: 5v 0.75a
iphone Wall charger output: 5v 1a
will it damage my iphone?
