how to add animated text over someones head in final cut pro 7

I am editing a short promo movie for a charity to homeless children in Brazil. The film has about 15 different kids in it and I want to tie the kids names to them when they are on screen. What i am picturing is like their name moves when their head moves. If anyone has seen Lie To Me I would like it to be like the beggining credits where they show the name of the facial movement they are making. Any pointers or suggestions are greatly welcomed. If anyone has another suggestions that would be awesome too
