Assigning specific MainStage patches to controller buttons... n00b qq?

Perhaps I've just not interpreted previous threads along this line right, but I cannot seem to get this.

The next/prev patch buttons are not convenient enough for me - I would like to be able to respond to the sudden, improvisational need for my nasty B3 and touch one button to get there... then get back to my dyno'd rhodes, or off to a OP-X patch - with no prior planning or easy ability to go next next next next to get there. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance, sorry if this is a dupe...

No problem, just assign a Program Change number to the patch(es) you want to directly access:
Go to Edit Mode
Click on the patch you want to directly access
Then in the Patch Inspector panel at the bottom click the Attributes tab
Check the Program Change box
Assign the number
Program your MIDI controller to send that PC

Hit the key, button, or switch you have mapped and you should jump directly to that patch.
