Bonjour Problem with Windows 7 and HP Plotter

I'm having an issue with an HP Plotter connected to an Airport using Bonjour. Bonjour recognizes the plotter as an HP Designjet 500, which is good, but when I try to plot nothing happens. It processes out of AutoCAD like it completed successfully, but doesn't.

The client just went to Parallels/Windows 7 but still has VMWare/XP installed. I can plot from there as well as OSX. I noticed a difference in the configuration in printers - XP uses a virtual USB port while Windows 7 configured it as an IP port. Wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Oh, and one last thing, I am fully function on Windows networking (to the extent that's possible - LOL!) so I don't think the issue is the Parallels setup.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Not that this is help...but Windows 7 does not play nice with Bonjour. In fact, as near as I can tell, it does not play with Bonjour at all. I've got an HP printer, and my wife's laptop (an HP as well) can't print via Bonjour. You can read more here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2221755&tstart=0

If anyone gets a working solution, let me know as well.

My client (I'm a consultant) subscribes to Applecare so I called them and they were of no help whatsoever. However, I did take an XP box to the site and had the same problem. Turns out the latest HP Plotter driver doesn't work with the HP 500 unless it has the HPGL/2 card installed.

Anyhow, once I loaded an older revision of the driver, which was only certified to work with 2000 and XP, everything worked fine. I am working with a 32-bit version of Windows 7 running under Parallels so that probably has something to do with it. I imagine that most of the problems that others are experiencing are with the 64-bit version. I don't have anyway to test it just yet but maybe trying Bonjour in the compatability might make a difference.

This has been a **** of a learning experience but I've got my client fully functional.
