iPhone app keeps downloading

This is bizarre: I checked my iPhone apps in the iTunes store for updates and one indeed had an update available (Bejeweled 2). I downloaded it onto my MacBook Pro, synced with my iPhone and that was that. Except that the Applications icon in iTunes continues to show one update available, and that update is, you guessed it, Bejeweled 2. I've redownloaded it multiple times but the iTunes Store still claims I have this update to download. It's not my computer, because my iPhone also shows the download as available, and so does my wife's computer that is linked to the same account. This isn't happening with any other iPhone app, just Bejeweled 2. *I even went ahead and deleted the app from iTunes and redownloaded it fresh, but that didn't fix it either.* How can I get the iTunes Store to recognize that I've already downloaded the update? Thanks.

MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz (2008), Mac OS X (10.6.2), 3 GB RAM

Add me to the list. I have had up to 13 apps today continue to show as having updates. On my 3GS I select to download all of the updates and only some do.

On the ones that do download the update does not apply. ProCamera is one - despite numerous attempts the latest version will not download and install.

I hope this gets resolved soon.

i tried to delete one because itunes couldn't finish updating it and this was preventing any further updates. but the app's in limbo somewhere. itunes still thinks its there--and won't go any further--yet it's not in the apps list, it's not there in itunes library, and it's not in the trash either. i don't see it in finder nor can spotlight find it.

for the record, i've had every single problem i see here in this section. annoying. but the repeated update thing had eventually resolved itself. i don't know what to do abt my current issue. i can't update nor buy any new apps.

i'm considering uninstalling itunes, deleting its plist, and reinstalling it. or would simply deleting the plist do the same thing? i'm pretty new to mac. anyone have thoughts on my idea? think it will work, etc?

Well same here, using the Argentine App Store. I have that annoying red badge that keeps telling me that there are updates that I already downloaded no less than five times!
I tried to delete the app from my iphone, deleting it from itunes, downloading it again, deleting every dumb file (ipa1, ipa2, etc)... nothing works. I din't find no answers anywhere... suggestions?

Thanks

PD: BTW, sorry If I made a mistake, my english is not superb...

This is a problem, a bug, ...a feature?? Well, many of us have it, ALL of us should write to the iTunes feedback.

http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

Couldn't find a specific "App Store" page for that, but hey it worths a try.

I have trashed a huge app countless times, and iTunes insists in downloading it again everytime it checks for new downloads. I don't want this app anymore, I want to get rid of it once and for all, why can't I?

In spite of this bug, hope you all have a happy new year.
