Apple Wireless Keyboard Eating Batteries

I have a year old wireless apple keyboard (the small aluminum one) and lately it has been eating batteries.
This did not happen before I installed snow leopard however that might not be the cause.

Is anyone else having these problems?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Persol

Add me to the list of folk experiencing this issue. My first gen BT Al keyboard is going through set of batteries every 8-12 days since switching to the Magic Mouse and recent OS updates.

I can't narrow it down to an OS update or the addition of the new Mouse specifically, but I was getting MUCH longer life from the batteries in the keyboard when I was using my old USB Razor mouse.

Ironic, really. I went from a Mighty Mouse to the USB Razor as I was tired of replacing batteries in that mouse. Now I have a wireless mouse I like and need to switch back to a wired keyboard for battery life issues. shrug

Likewise, I'm going through aluminum keyboard batteries weekly. I bought my Magic Mouse on Halloween (maybe I should have known better?) and it's at about 10% left on the batteries as well, which is not nearly as good as my Mighty Mouse performed.
