Firewall stopping scan from MFC printer to GIMP, Pages, Mail?

I have a Brother MFC if I turn the Firewall off I'm able to scan from the MFC to GIMP, Pages & Mail on my MacBook over the network. As soon as I turn the Firewall on I'm unable to scan from the MFC to any of the applications, what is even stranger is after looking at the Firewall Logs I don't see that it's blocking the MFC!

Any ideas?

Macbook MB062B/A and loving it!, Mac OS X (10.6.2), 2 GB of RAM, iPod Classic, iPhone 3G / OS 3.1.2

Hmm...I'm still on 10.4, but I think this is the same: you have to open a port for the mfc. In System Preferences, choose Sharing, click Firewall, and add a new entry in the 'Allow' section (ports listed here are open even if the firewall's turned on). In Port Name, choose 'Other', add TCP 54925 and UDP 137, and name it 'Brother Scanner' or something like that.... If 10.6 works and looks like 10.4, that might fix it.
