I have problem with video playing. On my MacBook Air MC234 (2.13 Core2Duo/2Gb DDR3/128 SSD/256Mb NVIDIA GeForce 9400M) Snow Leopard 10.6.2, I can't watch video normal from local drive or internet. When I open some movie I can watch it a few minutes (maximum 10) then all slow down. Activity Monitor show kernel_task take more that 100% CPU, sometimes 150%. Who know what's wrong? How can I fix it?

The original poster's problem sounds like an overheating issue. When the MacBook Air gets too hot kernel_task will kick in and slow down the computer. Try keeping it on a table surface instead of something insulated. Also try out Opera. It uses much less CPU than FireFox or Safari.
achern, I did use Opera it's same 😟 As usual I use Opera for video and downloading files. As usual my Air not so hot at all... + Windows 7 have no problem in same situation...
