Final Draft v7 and v8 beachballing and freezing.

Ever since I upgraded to 10.6.2 Final draft has started to beachball right after about 15 minutes of use.

Warning once: This application, or a library it uses, is using NSQuickDrawView, which has been deprecated. Apps should cease use of QuickDraw and move to Quartz.

This is the error message I get, and I get it on my laptop as well. Any thoughts?

iMac 2.66 i5, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Okay I think I may have pinpointed the issue. My scripts were on my iDisk, and previously before upgrading to 10.6.2 I never had a problem working with remote files in Final Draft. If I move the files locally the issue is resolved. So it seems the larger problem is what happened to iDisk and permissions?

Welcome to Apple Discussions!

Have you setup Final Draft to run in Rosetta? Click on the application once, and select Get Info from the file menu. The Open in Rosetta checkbox should be checked. If it is, contact the author of Final Draft and ask if it has been tested with 10.6.2.

Thanks for the suggestion, setting it in Rosetta worked allowed me to continue using my documents on my iDisk. I contacted Final Draft and they have not been testing on 10.6.2 since it came out. However I alerted them to the issue and they said they are going to add it to their list.
