Same message here, just got the movie in Blu-Ray "Two-Disc Theatrical & Extended Edition" and can't transfer the digital copy... but it's open now and can't return it either.

Where is Apple or Sony Pictures on fixing this issue?!? I see NO answers for this in multiple searches online, despite many other people posting the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, after messing around for 10 minutes, I just said "screw it" to the pop-up Autoplay program that launches, went into iTunes, selected the disk in the "Devices" link in the left-side menu bar, and entered the code there... and voilà, it works. The error is apparently in the Autoplay software that is supposed to go launch iTunes.

So, to get around this, close out the Autoplay window that pops up when you insert or launch the Digital Copy disk. Go to iTunes, select the disk in the "Devices" link in the navigation bar on the left in iTunes, and enter the Redemption Code in the new screen that shows in the main window, then click the "Redeem" button. Enjoy.
