How do I down grade iphone 2G version 3.1.2 modem band 04.05.04_g

I have an original iphone 2G with version 3.1.2(7D11) modem firmware 04.05.04_G and want to downgrade to an earlier version but dont know where to find previous version files or how to perform the downgrade any help will be greatly appreciated.

The iPhone is no designed to easily downgrade. You may want to try google and see if anyone has any hints.

I have search for many days and several hours with no help yet. I am about to close my ATT account and want to give the phone to my son so he can unlock it and use it on his T-mobile account but ther is no way to unlock the phone with software version 3.1.2 modem version 04.05.04_G.

You're on your own with this. Discussing ways of hacking the phone is not allowed on these forums. I'm sure if your son is a clever boy, he can figure it out himself.

of course there is no discussion of unlocking here on the forums, both apple and att like to give prison r@pe to their customers, google it and you can find the answer, boy am I, a mac fan for the longest time, leaving this iphone bs ASAP
