No service - (Country: Belgium, Operator: Proximus)
I have a problem with my one year old iPhone 3G (white, 16gb). Since a week (max 2 weeks), I noticed a huge decrease in signal strength.
Where I used to have 5 bars, I get 2.
Where I used to have 3 bars (or less), I get the "no service" label.
Those are the things I already did, without any succes:
- Reset my iPhone in iTunes (installed 3.1.2 again and put my stuff back with the backup)
- Reset all (network)settings
- Went to the Proximus-store for a new SIM-card (latest generation).
- Called Proximus if they know a solution for this problem. They say it's due an update from apple (but I installed 3.2.1 from the release (more then a month ago)).
It's very frustrating to miss important calls because of this. Now I use another phone, without any problems. But I want my iPhone back ... I don't think it's a hardware problem, because my father has exact the same problem with his iPhone 3GS (white, 32Gb).
I really hope to find a solution. Thank you in advance.
