Hard drive options - WD3200BEVT vs WD3200BEVE

Hi all,

I am looking to replace my hard drive with bigger one and am being pointed towards 320GB Western Digital Scorpio 2.5"SATA Drive. The recommended one has a product number WD3200BEVE but I've found one on eBay for a great price with product number WD3200BEVT. Does anyone know what the difference in the T or E is all about and whether WD3200BEVT will work with the Powerbook?

Let me know.

Cheers.

The BEVT has a SATA interface and can't be used in any Powerbook. You need the BEVE with its PATA, or ATA/IDE, interface. SATA is a newer drive interface than PATA. It's the standard in current notebook computers, replacing PATA.
