youtube not available

Take your time to write a thoughtful comment on a video, hit send, and it's gone, "youtube is not available". It happens frequently on the iphone app yet never happens on the desktop site. This bug has followed the youtube app across multiple phones (OG & 3G), multiple OS updates, and still happens randomly. Not having a feature is better than one that frequently doesn't work, and frustrates, as well as wastes your time...I'm so ready to checkout the latest from HTC

Macbook Pro, Mac Pro, iPhone OS 3.1.2

Actually, that is the most likely cause. You have ruled out everything else, and 50 million others having no problem, mostly rules out youtube. Whatever you are doing wrong, you are consistent.

lol yeah, thanks DCGOO. As I've already explained, the problem is with the *youtube app* not handling youtube's captcha requirement after you make X number of comments. You know that 50 million other users have proven this problem does not exist because...you're simultaneously telepathetically connected to the iphone community at all times? Professor X, thank you for joining the discussion! = ]

There is a problem with captcha using iphone's browser (safari). I've got my own server with website running on it. And one page on the website has captcha. When I open the page for a first time, captcha works just fine and in apache's log I see:

GET /captcha/?5154 HTTP/1.1" 200 1758

When I open the page again I cannot authenticate because of wrong captcha code typed. And this time I see in my logs:

GET /captcha/?53325 HTTP/1.1" 200 2079
GET /captcha/?53325 HTTP/1.1" 200 2405

As you can see, iphone tries to fetch the picture (captcha) twice! So you see captcha from first request, but there another request takes place and internal variable on server is assigned to another captcha code!

I checked it on other browsers: Opera, IE, Firefox and Desktop version of Safari for Windows and all of them worked fine and only one request for captcha was sent to webserver.
