opening iWeb made site in Kompozer ?

Hi ! I know this might not be a popular question here..but I had read elsewhere on the forum that somebody opened a website that they created in iWeb using the Kompozer software. The Kompozer "help" says you can open "html" files, etc....but when I hit File/Open, the website I created is not listed anywhere? I must be missing something.

Can anyone tell me how I would open it in that program?

Go where you website is. Probably on the server. There you can open the html files.

You firstly need to publish your site from inside iWeb to your desktop so if you are using iWeb 09 select ftp to local folder - you need to do this to create the html pages.

Once you have published to your desktop any other package such as Dreamweaver, TextEdit or TextWrangler can open any of the html pages created.

THank you for your help. I was able to open the site in Kompozer after publishing it to the desktop. Kompozer seems "ok". I am currently trying RapidWeaver in demo mode so that I can see how that one works for me. So far so good.
