Airport problem with new iMac 27" (english/german)
Dear Apple, dear other users,
i have just bought one of the new iMac 27", it is the standardmodel (c2d 3,06GHz, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, ATI 4670 256MB). After unboxing and the first start, registration, etc., I wanted to connect to my wireless network (FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170 (fs) router), but I cannot find any Airport network adapter in my system preferences. I looked in "System preferences" / "Network", but it listed only Ethernet and Firewire, I tried to add a new kind of network adapter and I couldn't select Airport. In the menu-bar there also is no Airport-Icon.
After that I looked in the System Profiler / Network / Airport (it is still listed) and there it shows only this:

My next thoughts ware "Mh, maybe got something wrong during the installation-prosess, so I reinstalled osx and all updates. Same problems after the reinstallation of osx! No Airport-Network.

Ich habe mir gerade den neuen 27" iMac gekauft, in der Standard-Konfig. NAch dem Auspacken und Einrichten wollte ich den iMac noch in mein WLAN einklinken (kommt von einer FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170 (fs)), aber ich habe kein installiertes Airport gefunden. Nicht in der Menüleiste, nicht in den Systemeinstellungen. Unter Systemeinstellungen / Netzwerk kann ich nur Ethernet und Firewire auswählen. Will ich eine neue Netzwerkressource hinzufügen, kann ich auch dort kein Airport auswählen. Es scheint so zu sein, als ob das Gerät gar keine Airportkarte hat.
Im System-Profiler finde ich unter Aiport nur folgenden Eintrag:

Wie kann es sein, dass ein neues Gerät so einen Fehler aufweist?
