Text Quality is Low on Final Cut Pro

Hello,

I add text in my final cut pro 6 timeline, and it looks good, but as soon as i hit play or render out to final quicktime movie, then the text becomes blurry. The text is really blurry, I tried few colors, few settings but I can't figure this out.

Does any1 know what i can do?

Thanks

Which text generator are you using? What font, what font size, and what text color are you using? What is your sequence settings?

Small fonts, especially serif fonts, easily become blurry/jagged in a DV NTSC/PAL sequence because of the ugly DV compression. What is your intended delivery format? Have you looked at your text on a broadcast monitor?

Have you tried using Boris Title 3D?

Did you see where the Dng2009 is from?

Heaven. You would think the OP could just ask our blessed supreme-being about the low-quality text.

It’s probably that pesky saint Peter again, trying to create an introduction video for the line at the pearly gates.

I’ve told Pete time and again that the canvas is a low-res proxy, but does he buy a broadcast monitor? No.
