Itunes says my digital copy code has been used already.
Got star trek for blu-ray. It came with a digital copy and a redeem code. However when I entered it on the redeem page in itunes a red message appears telling me the code has been used once and can not be used again. The code is from a fully sealed new copy of teh blu-ray. What should I do? (yeah I know I can just handbrake it but the gift giver was excited about this functionality so I'd like to use it).
Same exact thing happened to me. Paramount's website is no help whatsoever. I emailed Apple support and they sent me a new code immediately. Hope that helps...
Same issue for me. Blu-Ray, purchased before the holidays. I filled out the Paramount form on 12/27 and still no response. I know they are probably overwhelmed, but its pretty frustrating. I have now emailed Apple.
Has anyone had any luck with a fix for this? There doesn't seem to be anything functional on the Paramount site. I try to contact them and just get redirected to the Apple support page, which is useless.
Is the only fix to return the set and just get a new one? Amazon.com hasn't been very helpful either. They say, "contact Paramount," which, it seems, is impossible.
I received my new code earlier today from Paramount support. I filed my support issue two days after Christmas. It seems like they're back to work and getting through the (most likely very long) list of faulty codes.
Hang in there!
Also, I know it's not Apple's responsibility to fix this issue, but I did email iTunes Store support since I hadn't heard back from Paramount. Apple provided me a replacement code less than 24 hours later. It seems like either way you need support, someone will get you a new code.
Don't worry - I'm going to tell Paramount to void my second replacement code. I don't want to take advantage of the situation! I'm just happy to see it taken care of so transparently and (relatively) quickly.
There is a form on the paramount website to fill out, obviously, they are aware of the situation as they have a list of like 12 movies that are obviously having this same issue
I'm having a problem as well. I'm having a problem with the 2-Disc, non-Blue Ray, edition. It keeps saying it's been canceled, and I just bought it new and all. Is this Paramount's way of investigating the problem, canceling codes?
