iTunes 9 crashes at startup (Win XP Pro SP3, fresh install)
For some unknown reason, iTunes 9 crashes once it's started. I've tried everything in Apple's troubleshooting guide, but nothing helps. I've also tried reinstalling a couple of times. The older iTunes 8.2 installs and works flawlessly.
The computer was reinstalled from scratch yesterday, and it's running Win XP Professional SP3, everything is updated in Windows update. All the original drivers were downloaded from Dell. Also, it's running Vipre Antivirus from Sunbelt Software. As far as I can tell, there are no known issues with this software.
