Boot Camp Control Panel Causes Windows Xp to Freeze
After I installed the Boot Camp 3.0 drivers and restarted my computer, Windows would immediately freeze after logging in to my account. I would then have to do a hard reboot. I figured out that the Boot Camp control panel application that started with windows, was causing windows to freeze. I disabled the application from starting with windows by booting into Safe Mode and disabling it. Windows XP now works, but I can't use the boot camp control panel or the computer freezes. Anybody know how to fix this?

The most common "known" issue has to do with AppleHFS.sys and the recommendation is to rename it. Do a Safe Boot, and check msconfig and see what services and startup items are loaded. You should be able to workaround this.
