a flash music player that keeps playing when going to next page

Hello everybody 🙂

me second and last question I hope, I want to install a flash music player on the site where people can listen to music while they are exploring the site. Finding a flash music player isn't a problem, there are already enough links on the forum for that 🙂 but how to do that when you go to the next page that it doesn't stop playing? Add something in my html code from the html snippet or is there an other solution?

yes I know but, I don't want to sound like some one else can do it so they have to solve it, but till I know how to do it myself it will take a long long time to learn and maybe some one already knows how to do it and then I'm also happy that it is solved 🙂 some one must have done this before me no? 😝

You do not need PHP.

Create a page in iWeb and put the MP3 file on it.

Then add a HTML Snippet to display the pages you want to see and navigate.

Just follow the steps mentioned earlier.

but I need a flash player so you can switch to next song and stop the music and so on ! That has to be inserted in a iframe no?

To display a flash player you have to add a HTML Snippet for the code.

Now you have 2 HTML Snippets.

One for the MP3 player and one for the page to browse.

Add more Snippets for other purposes.

ok and what am I doing wrong when I type this in my html snippet?

The code is oke. The only thing you have to do is fill in the variables.

URL to the MP3 player and the width and height of it.

I'm sure you know how to link to files on a website. I'm sure you do.

is wrong. It should be:

http://www.thomas-degry.be/Herbert/Index.html

And it's still wrong. It should be:

http://www.thomas-degry.be/Herbert/index.html

or even better : http://www.thomas-degry.be/Herbert/

ok ty, this works, but my standard page height is 1101, but some pages are shorter and others are longer, to 1700 pixels. What about that? If I choose my page with my html snippet 1700 (the heighest page) the page is longer then nessecary than it needs to when you see a page with height 1101.

HTML Snippets have a fixed height. Perhaps some JavaScript can cure it.

If all else fails, grit your teeth here : http://www.wyodor.net/Ajax/

Or use the <frameset> option. Not so elegant and outdate too.
