I click Mail, it opens for 2 seconds, then closes down to main menu?!?!?

I have searched and can't find this answer.
I suspect it has something to do with my home computer and iphone together.
I click on MAIL it goes to MAIL for 2 seconds, then it shoots back to the MENU page of my iphone - can anyone tell me how to stop this?? This is my last resort!

Mine started doing the same thing last night (Dec. 30), but only one email account (I have 3).

Now that you mentioned, mine is the same. Only my main inbox seems to have the issue. All other folders and accounts seem to ne fine.

Sorry Dan but my tech level is pretty low, so you're going to have to break it down a bit more for me... when you say "in Mail.app on OS X" - I have no idea what or where that means.
