Magic Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard with Bootcamp and Win XP Pro 32-bit
Does the Apple Magic Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard work with Boot Camp running Windows XP Pro (32-Bit)... I read something leading me to believe there maybe a problem and you need to use a wired USB mouse/Keyboard.
Is this true?
Dual 2.8 Quad 12GB RAM 22xSuperDrive M-Audio iControl Korg nanoKontrol/nanoPad,
Mac OS X (10.6.2),
20" Cinema Display, HK Sound Sticks, Logic, Edirol Keyboard Controller, Reason 4
Apple Wireless Keyboard is able to work in Boot Camp via Window XP Pro, it's good enough.
but the Magic Mouse, it's not able to work completely in Window XP Pro,
it's just work like a normal bluetooth wireless mouse,
all the Multi-Touch features like scroll, rotate, swipe, pinch and tap click are not gonna work,
even you are configure via the snow leopard, so please be reconsider.

I get as far as WIndows Set-up in Bootcamp. (blue screen)
My wireless keyboard/mouse simply don't allow me to proceed further to run set-up.
Keys don't function.
From what I can tell the wireless devices won't work (at least not properly in bootcamp). I have parallels 5.0 but from what I've read an application like AutoCAD won't work very well under it.
On that note...would it be safe to say that I need to acquire an Apple wired keyboard/mouse?
I will speaking with Apple support . From all my readings, it would appear this is a key issue
with the new wireless/magic mouse.
Yes... That is what I've gathered from the people I've chatted with... You need a wired keyboard/mouse. Otherwise, MS XP won't recognize the the hardware... especially the mouse. I have a brand new wired keyboard but I'm going to have to search around for an old wired mouse.
Thanks for the feedback. I will speaking with Apple support this afternoon to confirm
what does, and does not work for a keyboard/mouse set-up when running MS XP.
Manuals will state a "usb" keyboard.
But while reading some of the blogs...that is not always the case.
