Opening .zi files and .dm files

Hello, someone is trying to send me the software for my usb internet connection. It's being sent to me in .zi or .dm files but my Macbook doesn't open it. It says that there is no default application specified to open the document. I'm pretty new with the whole Mac system so I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me with this?
