How can I stiop HP pop up every time I start my MacBook?

We recently bought a new printer, and have installed it on both my macbook and Imac. Every time we start the computer we get a pop up from HP "set up assistant". We have finished setting up the printer and it is working fine. We also installed the same printer on our macbook pro with no problems (no popup) We have already tried going into the settings on our mac and hiding it at start up. This does not work, and is changed back everytime we start the computers.

Any idea how to get the HP set up assistant to stop popping up?

Intel IMAC and Ibook, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

If it's located in the Utilities folder located inside the Applications forlder, and since you no longer have need for the setup assistant, simply delete it. If later you should need it, you'll still have the disc to get it back.

Or am I missing something here? I'm guessing that it usually deletes itself after being used (to achieve a successful setup) - since you only performed setup once, (that's all it needs - I only setup each of my two HP printers once) that copy deleted itself. The duplicate setup assistant on the other Mac would self-delete also, if used. Delete it yourself, it's a self-contained file.
