Apple TV + Sound out via USB?

I would like to be able to use the Apple TV as a presentation/kiosk server.
Since it appears to run a derivative of the MAC OS, would it be possible to connect an iSub + Soundsticks to the USB to get the sound?

Thinking build a slideshow, and have it run a set of music.

Also any possible connection to a flatscreen monitor to keep what I have to carry lighter?

MacPro Quad Core., Mac OS X (10.6.2)

No - the USB port is non-functional and for Apple use only.

You could potentially run a slideshow of photos but not presentations.

Also you couldn't easily tie music to photos.

You could potentially export a movie of a slideshow or presentation and play that.

You could consider a monitor with in-buily speakers and HDMI port to solve the sound/display problem.

realistically a Mac Mini would be a lot more versatile.
