Scanner Not Found HP Scanjet 3670

Hello. I have recently migrated from an eMac to a 27 in iMac OS 10.6.2. My HP Scanjet 3670 was working on this new machine after migration form the older eMac for 5 or 10 scans, but now I get an error saying
'Error, Sorry Scanner could not be initialized. (Scanner not found)'.
Can anyone assist me in getting this to work again? Thanks.

iMac 27 i5, 1TB., Mac OS X (10.6.2), 4 GB RAM, Lacie 500GB d2 Quadra, WD Passport 160GB

Managed to solve the problem on my own, hope this helps someone else also:

1--Deleted all existing HP files on the iMac by doing an Uninstall (which was part of the HP Files in Applications).
2--Inserted the Scanjet 3670 software disc that came with it.
3--Downloaded the HP Update HP Photosmart Studio 9.3.5 with Universal Binary Support for Mac OS X 10.3 and 10.4

4--Followed Instructions in the 3670 Users Manual under 'Scanner Initialization Problems'
5--Did a restart on the iMac and it's working fine.

I have that problem every once in a while with my HP 2575. I turn off the printer then turn it back on and it's OK.
