creating a searchable database

I use FCE to create teaching videos for my students. I have a collection of over 65 GB worth. I want to create a searchable database of these videos in which I can tag them with keywords. The students can then search for key educational videos based on typing in the keywords they are interested in. Can anyone recommend a software program that can help create such a set up? I prefer to use my own computer as the server, but would be open to using on on-line server/tagging service.

I've always found Adobe Bridge to be good for organizing, tagging, and searching through large amounts of videos. Bridge comes with almost any Adobe product such as After Effects, the current Photoshop Elements, etc. When you find a clip within Bridge that you like, you can simply select it, right-click, and go to Open With > FCE4 to import it into FCE for editing.

I'm sure there are other programs or methods that might be more appropriate for a normal FCE workflow, but that was my initial thought.
